Any organization, facility or individual with an interest in maternal and child health within the Consortium's region is eligible to become a general member of the Consortium. Each member agency has one vote. Individuals who are employed by a member agency must communicate election preferences with their CEO-designated representative. This representative is the only party authorized to vote on behalf of the agency. Trustees are elected from among the general membership at the Annual Meeting. With the exception of consumer members not employed by a consumer agency, it is the organization that holds a seat on the board. The chief executive officer of the elected organization is responsible for appointing an individual to represent that organization for each elected term.
